Join me on April 7 for the Premier of Fundamentals of Restorative Stretching for Kids Part II: Hip Stabilizers and Twists. This 55-minute webinar explores the fundamentals of passive and supported stretches that fall under the categories of Hip Stabilizers and Twists. Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Determine the benefits and appropriate applications of restorative Hip Stabilizers and Twists

  • Demonstrate the ability to guide and assist others in a series of restorative postures that target Hip Stabilizers and Twists

  • Utilize traditional (yoga blocks, straps, bolsters) and non-traditional (pillows, blankets, towels) props to fully support children in restorative and passive stretches

  • Determine appropriate time holds and counter stretches for each practice

  • Plan sessions to include creatively named postures, themes, guided breathing and meditation that are developmentally appropriate and beneficial to children
